Here are the materials I used for this project-
  1. Cutting Files: chocolate bunny, cute chick, egg & grass (Printable Cuttable Creatables), sentiment (Phrases-Cricut Cartridge).
  2. Paper: scraps from my scrap bin.
I love Printable Cuttable Creatables-the price for all three files I used is only $2! And there are 28 Easter files to choose from, some of them free. Be sure to enter our challenge for a chance to win that virtual wallet of $25 at PCC!

Lavender Roses

Welcome to March at Die Cut Diva's for our new challenge, sponsored by-

Cheapo Dies

Cheapo Dies is offering a $15 gift certificate,
 which goes a long way.

The challenge is to submit a project which is monochrome in color.

Here is my project-

One of my Mom's favorite flowers are roses. She had several lavender roses in her yard, and this card is a homage to her gardening. I'm leaving a sentiment off for now, but I will stamp on the lower right hand corner for the occasion I need it for! Here are the materials I used-
  1. Dies: roses (Elizabeth Craft Designs, but this flower one by Cheapo Dies would work as well).
  2. Paper: various shades of purple cardstock (stash).
  3. Embellishment: rhinestone flourish (Zva Creative).
Note: I looked up Cheapo dies that were similar to the ones I already own. They USED to have a rose like this-but it has been retired. The die I suggested can easily replace my roses.

One of my favorite colors is teal, and this card uses numerous teals in paper as well as Copic markers. I keep trying different methods of paper piecing, and someday I'll find one I like! Here is what I used-
  1. Dies: hummingbird stained glass (Frantic Stamper, but this Cheapo die would work as well) sentiment (Cottage Cutz).
  2. Paper: white, light teal, medium teal cs (stash). Vellum (Coordinations).
  3. Copics: black, teals.
  4. Embossing Folder: decorative tile set (Cuttlebug).
Thanks for visiting!

Note: I looked up Cheapo dies that were similar to the ones I already own. They USED to have a hummingbird panel like this-but it has been retired. The die I suggested can easily replace my hummingbird.

Here is my project-

I've always wanted a "March" t-shirt, and I finally made myself one! The saying on this shirt means "kiss my arse" in gaelic! But how many people would know that unless you told them? I used a font I found in Cricut Access for the sentiment, and used a Dreaming Tree clover (Luck of the Irish set). The green glitter and green iron-on is from Cricut (I used my regular iron, and it adhered really well).

My next project is for a t-shirt I can wear at our local autocross track while I tech cars. Try making a shirt today!

Thanks for visiting!

This card is done in shade of yellow/gold. The words to the song "You are my Sunshine" is in the stamp, and of course I tried to make the card sun-shiney. I added Deco foil to parts of the die cut and the background paper with the Sakura Mini Glue Pen. Here are the materials I used to make this card-
  1. Dies: musical score (Frantic Stamper, but this Cheapo dies will also work), stitched ovals (My Favorite Things, but this one would work also).
  2. Stamp: You Make Me Happy (Unity Stamp Co.), Versamark ink, gold Zing embossing powder.
  3. Paper: patterned paper (Kaisercraft), pale yellow cs (DCWV,  Black Currant stack).
  4. Other: Sakura glue pen, gold deco foil.
Thank you for visiting, and check out Cheapo Dies!
