  2. Paper: yellow, purple cardstock (Scrap stash), patterned paper (unknown).
  3. Embellishments: lime green sequins attached with Glossy Accents.

The FCCB Christmas Bingo hop is sponsored by:

A $10 Credit Voucher will go to the lucky winner!

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used. If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images.

For this blog hop, you can submit up to three projects. Each project is one entry into the drawing for the prize.

Be sure to visit each Design Team member and leave a comment-those will be put into a drawing for the following:

So here is my Bingo Card project-

I chose Christmas glitter (center of poinsettia's), Hand Colored Christmas image (PSX Poinsettia) and Cricut Christmas Cut (Creative Memories Tis The Season, sentiment).

The poinsettia is an older PSX Botanical Flower stamp, and colored with Copics. And yes, I did fussy cut the whole thing. I used gold Stickles for the center of the poinsettia's. The embossing folder was a freebie from Cardmaking and Papercrafts. And the sentiment was cut out of a red cardstock scrap. I love how striking the red is against the embossed white background.

I do have Blog Candy! One lucky comment person will win-

So here is the line-up:

Michelle

Getting closer to Christmas

Hello! It's getting close to Christmas, and here is another quirky way to keep warm & cozy-decorating! Come join the fun at Die Cut Diva's! Here is the front of the card-

 And here is the inside-

I took the cue from the reindeer about the theme. The image is from Bugaboo Stamps (Reindeer Trio) colored with Copics. The embossing folder is from Tim Holtz (Vintage Brick) highlighted with white chalk ink. The great thing about my Cricut is that I can choose a font and cut out the letters I need. I wove Jolee's Christmas lights through the sentiment (some letters were pop dotted up), then computer generated the inside sentiment. I did cut a window for the reindeer to look through and pop dotted the brick wall to the card.

Goodbye September from Die Cut Diva's!

We are saying goodbye to our wonderful September sponsors Bugaboo Stamps and One Happy Cut-thank you so much!

Here is my card-

When I made this, I didn't realize that Scruffy Puppy had been discontinued from Bugaboo stamps. There are several dog (or cat!) images that could be used in place of Scruffy, so check out Bugaboo's inventory. The background paper is from DCWV Pet Stack, the ribbon from Jo-Ann's, and embossing folder from Darice called Paw Prints. The banner was cut with my Cricut (Christmas Cheer cartridge) with scraps. The squares were cut with Spellbinders Squares out of more scraps. Scruffy was colored with Prismacolor pencils.

This is my father-in-laws birthday card, so shhhh-don't tell him!

FCCB-Shaped Card Challenge #261

Happy Monday and welcome to another Monday challenge!

Challenge #261-Shape Up
Make a Shaped Card (anything but a square or rectangle)

This Weeks Sponsor
Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used. If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images.

For this challenge, it is for a shaped card, therefore no extra chances of winning.

Here is my card-

Here is a list of materials-
  1. Cricut Cartridge: Create a Critter 2, Winter Owl (cut at 7").
  2. Cardstock: Dark Green, Dark Red, Beige, Tan, and Brown from my stash. (The next one I make will have cute patterned paper for the hat and scarf!)
I chose an image that had a shadow feature so the card base wouldn't have layering cuts. I cut the card base in the color I want.  After assembling the card front, it's ready to be joined to the base. I score the base where I want my "hinge" to be, then put adhesive on the hinge and bend it backwards so it won't touch the card front. Next I line up the base and card front how I want, then fold the hinge up and tightly press to the front. Now the pieces are perfectly matched and the card is done!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Dies: Spellbinders Label Nine (On One Happy Cut, they call it Labels Eighteen-same die I used).
  2. Image: Bugaboo Image Flower Puppy, colored with Copics.
  3. Embossing Folders-Cuttlebug strips-Zig Zag, Buttons, Wavy Line, Leaves, Flourishes. These are 3/4" wide folders!
  4. Washi Tape: Elmers blue & pink stripe.
  5. Paper: White & Blue Cardstock.
  6. Embellishments: Light Green pearls, Michael's.
Thanks for stopping by!

Sketches and Bugaboo Stamps!

Hi, Michelle here today! I've brought you a bookmark today to share using Bugaboo Stamps Rottweiler Trio-and taking this sketch:

and making it a bookmark by taking a few liberties with the sketch-

I colored this image in Copics (I forgot to write down the ones I was using!) and used My Favorite Things Fishtail Banners to cut DCWV Pet Stack paper for the bookmark. I cut two of the banners and glued them together wrong sides together for the bookmark base. I then used a Crop-a-dile to attach a dark copper eyelet for my fibers. I've had these EK Success Adornments fibers for a loooong time, and took one foot from each of the 7 different fibers in the package. I used a narrow ribbon around the center and pulled the fibers through and knotted them.

Thanks for stopping by and visiting!

Here is my project-

I just love this two sided paper! It's a DJ Inkers paper I've had forever. Perfect for a Back to School Card! The teacher is made with scraps from the Create a Friend cartridge, along with the apple. Plantin Schoolbook cartridge made the A+ from scraps, and Artiste Cartridge made the sentiment square, along with the Artiste stamps.
